CPA British Columbia BC – Not Possible Without Accounting Information

First of all, you'll need to understand that the CPA license is granted by State Board of individual states and jurisdictions in the United States instead of the government at the federal level. Therefore, there exist a total of 55 slightly different CPA British Columbia BC exam requirements among the different jurisdictions in the US.

In general, the various State Boards of Accountancy require CPA British Columbia BC candidates to have at least a Bachelor degree, but a Master's degree with 150 credit hours is preferred. A minimum number of accounting and business courses is also required.

You need to make sure that you are eligible for the examination process itself. This, again, varies somewhat from state to state. Some states have the 150-credit hours rule. This means that you should already have completed 150-credit hours and have a bachelor's degree.

Once you are considered eligible for the CPA British Columbia BC exam and your application is accepted, you need to pay a fee to the National Association of State Boards of Accountancy. The final scheduling is made with Parametric, which is actually located in 54 jurisdictions.

If you live in the USA, you should have no trouble at all doing this. Just make sure that your application is made some pretty good time in advance (45 days is my recommendation). Then you need to pay the exam fee in 90 days or less.

After passing the CPA British Columbia BC exam, most candidates have to fulfill the working requirements ranging from one to five years depending on the degree obtained and the relevancy of work.
